Andreas Thümmler, Managing Director of Corporate Finance Partners, was formerly with the Global Telecommunications Group of UBS Warburg in London with responsibility for the German telecommunications market. Prior to UBS Warburg, Andreas worked for Rothschild in Frankfurt, executing M&A transactions in the electronics, retail, and specialty paper sectors. Since starting CFP in 1998, Andreas has executed more than 100 M&A and Private Equity transactions. Andreas holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from European Business School. Julian Riedlbauer joined CFP in March 2008 as Managing Director. He started his career 18 years ago by founding Connect Service Riedlbauer, a telco- and networking-distributor and technical callcenter outsourcing service provider. At the time when Connect Service Riedlbauer had grown to a 130-people-business, Julian sold his company – advised by CFP – via a trade-sale to NT plus and partially to Xtend, a Thyssen Informatik subsidiary. Thereafter, Julian held several top-level and management board positions in leading Internet, IT and telecommunication companies, including NT plus, AddCom (which was sold by CFP to Tiscali), Tiscali International and Wapme. In the last four years, Julian worked for the ElectronicPartner group: First as Managing Director of the IT and Telco system integrator subsidiary comTeam and later as Managing Director of ElectronicPartner Germany with the responsibility for close to one billion Euros in sales volume. Andreas Noth (43) joined CFP as managing director on 1st June 2008. Prior to this, he was managing partner at 2 M&A services companies (2002–2008). From 1998–2002 he served as managing director of a subsidiary of Landesbank Berlin AG, responsible for the venture capital and investment business across Germany (1998–2002). From 1992–1998, he was with Dresdner Bank, holding a number of positions including loan and credit financing of small and medium sized companies. Andreas has a proven track regard in investments and trade sales especially with large publish-ing houses. Felix Schauerte, Managing Director of Corporate Finance Partners MidCap GmbH, the Special Situations unit within the CFP Group. Previously, Felix has been a Senior Advisor and Managing Director at Peters Associates (now Lincoln International), where he has been the key force behind settting up a division that became the leading M&A advisor on distressed assets in German-speaking countries. Prior to that engagement, Felix was a Director in the Corporate Finance Department of UBS Warburg in Germany and an executive in the M&A Group of Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt and London and Morgan Stanley’s Technology Group in San Francisco. Daniel Schenk joined CFP MidCap in July 2007 as a Managing Director. He has more than 10 years experience in M&A / Corporate Finance, gained primarily in Germany and the USA. Prior to CFP, Daniel was a Senior Vice President at Lincoln International and worked for the M&A / Private Equity firm Compass Advisers (New York). He has advised on more than 50 M&A transactions, mostly cross-border sell-sides of Private Equity portfolio companies, subsidiaries of large multinational groups or family owned “Mittelstand” companies, across a variety of industries. References include advice to Siemens, Altana, OAO Lukoil, Mannesmann and RWE-DEA, as well as Private Equity clients Hannover Finanz, BayernLB Private Equity, Nordholding and Invest Equity. From 1996 to 2000 Michael was Co-Founder and CEO of aeonware AG, an ecommerce software company. Prior to this, he worked for DaimlerChrysler IT Services. Michael holds a degree in Political Economics with special field in Latin America from the Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen/ Germany. Michael manages the US offices of Corporate Finance Partners and has completed approximate USD 1 billion in transactions since the offices inception. Giovanni Soleti was recently promoted to managing director at CFP Americas in Miami. During the course of his globally diverse past working experience, Giovanni has developed extensive international business relationships in the IT, software, and wireless entertainment industry. Giovanni was a co-founder and board member of aeonware AG, an e-commerce software company in Germany and Italy. He has run multimedia companies, worked for Wireless Fire, the US subsidiary of Wapme Systems, and has been advisor to Mobzilla, a wireless music company. Klaus Nestler, Managing Director founded BioConnect in 1999 and serves as Managing Director of the Life Sciences advisory group, based in Frankfurt/Main.
